Hey Y’all!
I am Angela Upshaw, and I am a teacher in Houston, TX. This is currently my 11th year teaching, and I have taught elementary ELA, high school dance, and middle school Science. My undergraduate degree was from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, and I am currently taking classes towards a Master’s Degree in Applied Digital Learning from Lamar University. I absolutely love teaching, building relationships with the students, and pouring my heart and soul into what I do.
My family is everything to me! I have the most amazing parents and the best siblings I could ask for. My nephews and nieces give the best hugs and they make me so proud. My friends come from all over, but when we catch up, it’s like we’ve never been apart. As you can tell, the people in my life are what matter most to me!
Some other hobbies I have include reading, shopping, and dancing. I love a good book that you can’t put down, and there is just something about a Target trip that lifts my spirits! Dance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and will be something I always hold dear to my heart. It has taught me so much about myself and connected me to many of my best friends.
I am really enjoying life right now, but I also can’t wait to see what the future has in store!
