After focusing on implementing ePortfolios in the Fine Arts classroom over the past year, I chose to integrate this topic with Action Research. I wanted to look further at the benefits ePortfolios could provide in a Fine Arts (more specifically, Dance) classroom and decided to look ePortfolios as a reflection tool. Literature Review
As classrooms around the world become more and more equipped with technology, the role of the educator is to provide ample opportunities for their students to use the technology in a way that supports learning. This literature review below explores the benefits and barriers of ePortfolios while providing insight on how they can be used as a tool for reflection in a Fine Arts Dance classroom.
Action Research Plan
As educators, we must recognize problems in our classrooms and strive to provide solutions. Using Action Research, we can not only identify the problem but conduct the research, analyze our results, and hypothesize solutions.
