Learner’s Mindset

As I explored different learning strategies and processes over these past eight weeks, it is evident this material will guide me through the Applied Digital Learning program. I am more aware of my mindset towards learning and can guide myself to continue to grow. I appreciate the COVA learning approach and how it allows me to take ownership of my learning to really reap the full benefits. I am also moving out of my comfort zone as I practice the “failing-forward” strategy with trying new things. I know all of these will make a huge impact on my learning as I continue towards the goal of my Master’s Degree.

Growth Mindset Plan

As I explored different learning Carol Dweck, author and psychologist, studied the impact of shifting your mindset from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset. I have created a plan to apply these ideas for use in my classroom and also in my personal life.

Learning Manifesto

As I reflected on my beliefs about education, I knew right away what I was passionate about. My Learning Manifesto shares my passion for education as a whole, my core beliefs about digital learning, emerging issues with technology in the classroom, and the impact I hope to make as an educator.

Learning Networks

Collaborating with others who share the same experiences as you is very helpful. I work best when able to bounce ideas off someone else, solidifying my thinking. Linked are some of the Professional Learning Networks I am apart of. I am looking forward to new ideas and connecting with fellow educators.
